Juanita Funkhouser is the pen name I chose to use for my book. I was born July 8, 1956 in a small Southwestern town in Arkansas.  I have three sisters and no brothers.  I am a wife and mother of three precious children that are grown. I have three wonderful grandchildren.

I graduated from High School in 1974. I work at many placed until I married my third husband and then I stop working. I work as a maid in a Holiday Inn, hemmer in a garment factory making pajamas, and at a Crotty Gasket Plant stripping car gaskets. I work in several different restaurants as a cook, waitress, dishwasher, biscuits maker, and much more.  I run a Truck Stop Full Service where I run the pump even for the big 18-wheeler.  I work at Walmart twice as a cashier and stocking. I was a cashier for a Dollar Store for eight years in all. For about nine months I work at a Tyson in the packing department packing chicken's legs.

I married and divorce twice and then I married the man I am married to now for the last 14 years. In 2003 we moved to Milan New Mexico where we stayed until 2008 when we moved to Portales New Mexico. A year later we moved to Roswell New Mexico.  Feb. 2011 we moved back to Arkansas.

The year 2005 my son and I enrolled in New Mexico State University where my daughter had already enrolled a semester or so before.  There I earned my Associate Degree in Applied Science and Associate Degree in General Study, majoring Web Mastery.  August 2008 I transfer to Eastern New Mexico University in Portales and May 2012 I earned my Bachelor Degree in General Studies. I completed my Bachelor Degree through the internet accept for my math class and that one I took in a class room at Portales.
